Short Course and Thin Film Technology postponed to June 21-25, 2021

The short course "Coating and Drying of Thin films" addresses engineers, scientists and technicians working in the areas of coatings, functional films, sensors, adhesives, paints, automotive coatings, patches, optical foils, tapes, diagnostics, membranes, printed electronics, fuel cells, battery coatings, who intend to get insight into fundamental and industrial aspects or to deepen their expertise.

Leading international scientists and experts from industry will report on topics of coating technologies, flow modeling, rheology, preparation of coating fluids and on  fundamentals and industrial aspects of drying technology, starting from basic process understanding up to recent research results and new trends in industry and academia. Coating processes and drying technology are explained by easily accessible examples, both in lectures as well as in a practical workshop in the TFT Coating and Printing Lab.

On Thursday and Friday, the 5th Thin Film Technology Forum will take place, where renowned scientists will present and discuss recent research results and new trends in industry and academia focused on Printing, Batteries, Smart Processes and Coatings. For participants of the short course participation at TFT-Forum is included.
